Improved “Ruler”
Users have long requested a ruler that can measure not only straight distances but also along any broken line. Finally, I’ve gotten around to it.
I tried to make this “ruler” as convenient as possible compared to similar tools.
You can add a point:
- With the “+” button
- By long pressing on the map
- By long pressing on the line
You can delete a point: - By tapping on the point
- With the “-” button (removes the last point)
All ruler points can be dragged across the map (by long pressing on the point).
This same interface is now used for creating custom routes.
Routes
This update also introduces the ability to create your own unique routes, laying them out along unbeaten paths and rivers where no regular navigator will guide you.
Currently, routes have the same capabilities as tracks: you can assign them different colors and thicknesses, display them on the map, share them, etc. However, in future updates, full navigation, including voice prompts, is planned for these routes.
Stay tuned for updates!
